Thoughts (transcribed in English)

Being monolinguistic,

I can only possibly think the thoughts that I think,

And can only possibly dream the dreams that I dream,

In the one and only,

Language that I know,

Which is English,

Which begs the question,

Do most bilinguists,

Think and dream in,

Both languages,

Or mainly their first language,

Or is it the most frequently used,

Or the one most recently used,

Which begs the further question,

How did our prehistoric ancestors think,

How’d they think before there was even language to think with to begin with,

Every infant-aged baby knows the answer to this question,

But they don’t yet know any language,

So we can't ask them.
